Terms of service
Last updated: May 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of the reala11y website at reala11y.com, the reala11y WordPress plugin, and any premium features (together, the "Service"). reala11y is operated by Fellow Codes (Pvt) Ltd, based in Sri Lanka ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The plugin and its license
The reala11y plugin is free and open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later). You may use, study, modify, and redistribute the plugin code under those terms. Premium features are unlocked by a license sold through our merchant of record (see Billing) and are intended for use on the number of sites your plan covers.
Billing and refunds
Premium licenses are sold and managed by Freemius, our merchant of record. Freemius handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable taxes (such as EU VAT and US sales tax), and refunds. Premium plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change for future billing periods. The free plugin on WordPress.org has no time limit and requires no payment.
AI features (bring your own key)
reala11y includes optional AI authoring tools — in the free plugin and in reala11y Pro alike — that use an API key you supply for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. When you use these features, your site sends requests directly to the provider you chose, billed to your own account under that provider's terms. We do not resell AI quota and do not store your AI responses. AI output is a suggestion you must review before applying — every result is labelled "Generated by AI — please review for accuracy." You are responsible for the keys you add and the costs they incur.
What reala11y does not promise
reala11y helps your site move toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance, but it does not guarantee WCAG, ADA, EAA, or Section 508 compliance, and it does not make your site "fully accessible" or "lawsuit-proof." Like all automated tooling, it detects only a portion of accessibility issues — approximately 30–40% of WCAG failures by criteria — and the remainder requires manual review by a qualified person. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. You remain responsible for your website's accessibility and for your own legal compliance.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer our paid licensing beyond what the GPL permits. We may suspend access that materially harms the Service or other users.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including WordPress.org (distribution), Freemius (billing), Cloudflare (hosting and CDN), and — only if you enable AI features — your chosen AI provider. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
